The Society Members Bulletin
I hope you all enjoyed reading the latest edition of the Society Member's Bulletin. It is intended to occasionally provide an additional 'Special' edition if I am provided with the relevant information.
There is a steady flow of correspondence now and I will be printing some of your responses in the next editions. Please continue to e-mail me with any useful bits of information or help me to discover the origins of the Artificer's blazer badge or who holds the oldest Rule Book. If you have any comments on the content of the articles or think that the information is not correct, then please let me know and provide an update or correction in the form of an article. I am happy to print any eulogies for those members who have crossed the bar.
The management team of the RNEBS no longer has any serving members and consequently it is getting more difficult to stay in touch with what is happening around the fleet and shore establishments. We have to rely on serving members to contact us with questions or requests that we can then act upon and hopefully provide the required answers and solutions.
Since 2012, the General Secretary's newsletter had been included in the Bulletin. However, as of the beginning of 2019, the post of General Secretary no longer exists and a report from the General Manager has been published instead.
